Put AI visibility in the Looker Studio report you already send.
The Goppa connector reads your Goppa account with a read-only key. For each
client site, AI engine and measurement date it gives how many answers named the site, out of
how many answers that engine gave.
Four steps, once
- Create your reporting key. In your Goppa account, open Settings, then
Reporting key, and click Create key. Copy it: it is shown once. It is
included in the paid plans and the free trial.
- Add the connector. Ask us for the connector link at contact@trygoppa.com: a founder answers the same working day. Open it, sign in to Looker Studio and click Authorize.
- Paste the key when Looker Studio asks for it. Leave Site empty for every
site in your account, or type one domain for one client's report.
- Build the chart. Use AI engine as the dimension and Named and
Answers as the metrics, or the text field Named (k of n) in a table.
Ask for the connector link
The fields
- Measurement date, Site, Market (the country the questions were asked
for) and AI engine: ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode, Gemini or
Perplexity.
- Named: the answers of that engine that named the site.
- Answers: the valid answers of that engine in the measurement.
- Named (k of n): the same two numbers as text, like "3 of 5".
Read the numbers right
- Named and Answers belong to ONE engine. Compare Named with the Answers of the same
engine, and never add answers from different engines into one percentage.
- With fewer than 10 answers, show "3 of 5", not 60%.
- These are the same numbers your Goppa workspace and the ChatGPT and Claude apps
show.
Safe to put in a client report
- The key only reads the AI visibility of the sites in your account. It changes nothing in
Goppa or on any site.
- Creating a new key stops the old one, and Revoke key stops it at once.
- The connector sends the key in a request header, never in a link.
Said plainly: the connector is not in the Looker Studio gallery
yet. You add it by its link, and Google may show a notice that the connector is not
verified by Google.
